Tokyo Kid Brothers – Throw away your books, rally in the streets! {1971}

Powerful track from the soundtrack of the experimental movie classic Throw away your books, rally in the streets! by director Shûji Terayama. The music is by Tokyo Kid Brothers and Tenjo Sajiki as far as I understand (it’s difficult to find out if you don’t know any Japanese).

    thank you so much for posting this! i saw the film yesterday at MoMA PS1, and looking around to find the OST! I thought it was a compilation of rock music of 70s scene, so delighted to learn that they completely composed the songs for the film. There is a RYM page of the soundtrack, apparently: http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/tokyo_kid_brothers/%E6%9B%B8%E3%82%92%E6%8D%A8%E3%81%A6%E3%82%88%E7%94%BA%E3%81%B8%E5%87%BA%E3%82%88%E3%81%86__sho_o_suteyo_machi_e_deyo_/
