Donnie & Joe Emerson – Baby {1979}

17 and 19 year old brothers Donnie & Joe Emerson’s father decided to build his sons a 100.000 $ recording studio in rural Washington in the late 1970′s. But “Baby” became a hit not before decades later when Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti and Dâm-Funk made a cover version of this track in 2012. “Light In The Attic” re-relaesed their album in the same year. The label filmed a short documentary about the family and The Guardian published a story with interview about them too.
